A Year of Adventures, Artistic Growth, and Gratitude

2024 was a whirlwind of incredible experiences! From breathtaking travels to fulfilling artistic endeavors, this past year has been a truly remarkable journey.

Travel Triumphs:

My travel bucket list got a serious checkmark this year! I embarked with my husband George on a magical Mediterranean cruise through Greece and Turkey, sailed the stunning Alaskan coast, and immersed myself in the vibrant arts scene at the Tribeca Film Festival. We also had the pleasure of exploring the charming towns of Antibes and Cinque Terre and finally ticked off a lifelong dream by visiting the picturesque Lake Como and Milan in Italy. And to cap it all off, we celebrated New Year's Eve in the heart of Times Square, witnessing the iconic ball drop – an unforgettable experience!

Teaching with Passion:

Teaching my "Paint Your PUP" workshop at the Arts Warehouse remains a deeply rewarding experience. I'm incredibly grateful to the AWH for their flexibility and understanding, allowing me to pursue my travel passions while continuing to share my love of art with my students. I'm incredibly proud of every one of them.

Embracing Artistic Growth:

As an artist, I'm always striving to learn and grow. This year, I made a conscious effort to conquer my fear of painting skin tones. I dedicated myself to four online workshops, each providing valuable insights into the intricacies of portraying the human face.

  • Paint Coach

  • Rachel Russel

  • Scott Waddell Patron

  • New York Academy of Art

These workshops have significantly broadened my artistic horizons.

Finding Joy in the Everyday

Thrilled to announce my first solo gallery exhibit, 'The Little Things,' at the Arts Warehouse in Delray Beach! This collection explores the beauty of the everyday, elevating ordinary objects through saturated renderings that invite viewers to appreciate the wonder in the seemingly insignificant. I am an alumna of the Arts Warehouse's Resident Artist program, and I am deeply honored to showcase my work here.

A Heartfelt Thank You:

Finally, I want to express my sincere gratitude to my wonderful clients. Your trust in me to bring your artistic visions to life has been an incredible source of inspiration. I am truly excited to see what we create together in the new year!

Happy New Year 2025!

May this year bring you joy in all your endeavors!

xoxo, Colleen & Fam
